About Us

Our Mission and Vision

Our Mission

We’re excited about our mission to place Boundless at the heart of arts and wellbeing for adults with learning disabilities (AWLD) in Worcestershire and the West Midlands. Our goal is to support AWLD in living healthy, fulfilling lives through participation in exciting arts and wellbeing activities. We strive to tackle the unique challenges that they face by offering accessible and inclusive programs that not only enhance mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing but also encourage personal growth, skill development, and showcase their creative talent.

Our Vision

“Our dream is to create a society where AWLD can feel included, valued, and have the opportunity to thrive without limits. Boundless is not just an arts and wellbeing organisation; we aim to inspire social change, raise awareness, challenge misconceptions, and celebrate the unique contributions of AWLD.”

Our values

Our values guide and shape our work with adults with learning disabilities (AWLD), their families and caregivers, our partners, and the wider community.

Boundless Artful Wellbeing arts workshop

We believe everyone deserves a chance to thrive without limits. That’s why we work hard to meet the needs of each individual and break down barriers so everyone can join in and flourish. We celebrate what makes each of us unique, making sure our programs are welcoming, fair, and accessible for all.

We make sure our activities and programs reflect the needs, dreams, and ideas of the people we support. Our goal is to provide opportunities where AWLD can express themselves, make their own choices, and live life to the fullest in the way they choose. Everything we do is about helping our participants feel confident, independent, and proud of who they are.

We invite AWLD and our partners to join us in co-designing, co-creating, and co-producing programs together! We believe that working together and sharing experiences can help us understand each other better, break down barriers and create lasting connections. We’re always exploring creative and collaborative ways to celebrate talents, solve problems, and inspire change.

We know how amazing and capable AWLD are. We’re here to make sure the voices of adults with learning disabilities are heard loud and clear. Through our work, we challenge misconceptions, raise awareness, and advocate for real, meaningful change in society.

We want our work to make a real difference—not just for today but for the future. We’re focused on creating programs that leave a lasting, positive impact on AWLD and the wider community. We regularly check in with our participants, partners and our community to make sure what we’re doing is helpful, relevant, and aligned with our mission.

Where to find us

Boundless is located in beautiful Worcestershire, but we won’t have a fixed venue for our activities. Instead, we will be taking our work right into the heart of the community. Our goal is to connect with as many adults with learning disabilities (AWLD) as we can across Worcestershire and beyond! We want to make it super easy for AWLD to take part in our activities! That’s why we’re committed to ensuring that travel isn’t a barrier and that all the venues we pick are accessible. We’re working hard to bring our arts and wellbeing activities to you soon. Until then you can keep up to date with all our latest news, sign up to our newsletter, help shape our projects, and apply to take part.

We work in partnership with arts and cultural organisations, health and wellbeing organisations, community groups, community organisers, and other third-party organisations to deliver our projects or events. Co-creating together

At Boundless, we invite adults with learning disabilities (AWLD) to co-design, co-create, and co-produce programs with us! We place our participants at the centre of project development, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs prioritised throughout the entire process. We believe in putting power, resources, and ownership exactly where they belong—with the people who will benefit from the work.

By working together, our projects have a lasting impact because they truly reflect everyone’s needs. Co-creation gives AWLD greater independence, choice, and control, by shaping our services around what matters to them. We want everyone to explore their creativity and realise their potential to make a positive impact.

It’s all about making sure that what we do really matters to everyone involved! By focusing on the needs, likes, and dreams of participants, we create experiences that feel truly meaningful and enjoyable.

Taking part in co-creative processes is a great way for everyone to pick up valuable skills that can be used in many situations, like communication, problem-solving, and teamwork.

It’s all about celebrating equality and diversity, and appreciating the voices and viewpoints of everyone involved, especially AWLD.

Coming together allows us to share diverse perspectives and experiences, meaning we can embrace fresh ideas and develop creative solutions!

It brings people together, fosters a sense of belonging, and encourages collaboration and broader connections!

It showcases the amazing talents of AWLD, raises awareness of the barriers they face, and the brings attention to the issues that impact their lives.
